What’s in your drivers’ toolkit?

Your drivers are the face of your business to your clients. Everything your drivers do is a reflection of your business and your brand. When your drivers are on time, courteous, knowledgeable, helpful, and resourceful, that means your vending business is all of those things, too. How do you help your drivers to be the best drivers in the business? One way is to make sure they have all the best tools for the business. Here are a few tools that help good drivers become the best drivers:

Apps for their phone: Traffic apps like Waze, Google Maps, Google Calendar, reminders, and can help your drivers get where they need to go more efficiently.

Great ongoing training: The more your drivers know about your systems, your customers, and the tools that are available to them, the better they can do their jobs.

Pre-kitting inventory: Allows you to massively grow your route with same workforce, or make decisions to service your existing routes with a more efficient workforce.

Data for route management: Should your driver check low-volume machines just as often as high-volume machines? The right data can help drivers make better route decisions.

These are just a few of the tools that can help make all of drivers better and your good drivers great. When your drivers are better at their jobs, your customers are happier, and your business is more profitable.
